It’s officially 2017, and I know almost everyone is striving to eat healthier than they did in 2016. What if you’re like me and you just can’t give up the ice cream though?
Look no further than Frankie & Jo’s! F&J is a plant-based ice cream shop, where they use all ingredients from plants, shrubs, trees, or flowers. Don’t crinkle your nose until you’ve tried it, they have really unique flavors but are still delicious and satisfying.
I stopped by in early December during finals week and got the Pumpkin Butter flavor – scrumptious and not too sweet, with gluten-free cornbread pieces and spicy pecans folded in. (I also highly recommend you follow them on Instagram, their feed is adorable!)
F&J opened shop on Black Friday in 2016, so they’re pretty new! A.k.a. get in there before the lines get long 😉 The catch? They only have one location – Seattle – so if you ever stop by, I highly suggest Frankie + Jo’s!
