back to school roundup

Hello hello!

With school right around the corner, it’s time to start prepping! While I don’t go back for the fall until late September, a ton of my friends are going back in a week or so, so I thought it’d be helpful to round up all the best links I’ve read. There have been a ton of back-to-school videos and blog posts that I’ve bookmarked and think are super helpful! Whether you’re an incoming freshman or a returning undergraduate student, I think these tips by bloggers/vloggers who are college students are beneficial for the upcoming school year – read & watch up!

ONE // 6 THINGS WORTH INVESTING IN YOUR FRESHMAN YEAR OF COLLEGE

There are a lot of supplies and stuff that you can buy for cheap in college, and then there are things you’ll need all four years of college that are definitely worth spending a little more money on. Written by a UT Austin CSE student, this blog post is simple and beautiful! I love following Jessica’s college posts – and can we talk about her beautiful blog?!

TWO // FREE BINDER COVERS

If you’re a girly-girl like me and LOVE preppy prints, check out these binder covers by a USC business student! Even though I’m not much of a binder user (I’m team notebook and folders), I might just have to convert so I can use these beautiful prints!

THREE // COLLEGE MOVE-IN DAY GUIDE

I love watching Youtube. One of my favorite Youtubers is Katherine from Katherout! She’s also a USC business student (are you seeing a trend here…?) and she gives great advice about surviving college. Move-in day can be SO stressful, and I loved her tips in this video!

FOUR // 10 WAYS TO PREPARE FOR A SUCCESSFUL SCHOOL YEAR

I discovered Annemarie’s channel through the aforementioned Katherout’s channel on Youtube, and while Annemarie’s channel used to be beauty-focused, she’s started leaning toward the college tips. Also a wonderful resource!

FIVE //  THE TRUTH ABOUT COLLEGE PARTIES (FOR REAL)

This. Girl. Katy is the most honest, raw Youtuber I know who is also fun to watch. She gets to the nitty-gritty about college parties. Take these tips to heart before you set your foot into your first frat party!

And that’s it! I hope you find these links to be helpful in your preparation for college. Best of luck to y’all!
