plaid poncho love

Blog - 1

First fashion post!!

I had a wonderful time taking a break from midterms studying doing a Sunday morning photoshoot yesterday with a fellow Seattle blogger, Grace from A Tiny Cup of Cake! We both did OOTD photos for each other, and it was just a grand ol’ time.

Today I’m featuring a new plaid poncho I got! Ponchos are definitely in right now, and they keep you so very warm during the chilly winter days! Plus, I really couldn’t say no to the fact that this poncho has a buckle at the neck and it was on sale for $19.99 AND an extra 30% off at H&M!

I just threw on a gray/white speckled turtle neck because it doesn’t clash with the plaid and gives the outfit more texture. I was honestly fine in 40-degree weather with just the turtleneck and poncho. Then I pulled on some black leggings and black rainboots for a slimmer look under the bulky poncho. My rainboots are a must for Seattle, and since every girl and their sister has Hunter rainboots, I opted for Coach because it has cute tie in the back that laces up!

Seriously can’t believe how well put together this outfit is (+ how cute you are!!). Have never considered buying a poncho before, but you’re totally rocking it.
